Note: this beanie design is also included in False Cable Beanie Collection together with Crossing Dreams Beanie at a discounted price! Both designs feature a beautiful braided texture similar to cables but they are not knitted with a cable needle.

This beanie features a texture that gives the illusion of cables but it’s not knitted like cables, that’s why I called this pattern Sweet Illusion Beanie.

The instructions are for multiple yarn weights bulky / light bulky / aran / worsted and for a one-size-fits-most adult beanie.

The beanie in the first photo was knitted with Malabrigo Mecha (light bulky yarn).

The pattern comes with a video tutorial showing how to knit the “illusion cable” stitch.
