This PDF file contains “Talisman triangular shawl” charts and and full instructions for knitting the shawl using traditional Haapsalu shawl technology. The file does not contain written instructions for the patterns, only for guidance of the process, assembly and finishing of the shawl. The file gives also instructions for size adjustment.
The main and edge lace patterns can be used for any other type shawl knitting.

Talisman pattern contains tiny hearts and four-leaved clovers and shall protect the one who is wearing it in the form of a shawl, a pashmina or a scarf.
For the shawl a lace-weight yarn is recommended (1400-1500m/100g, 1530-1640 yds/100g) with needle size 3mm for the main body and 4mm for the edge lace. The file contains knitting needle size conversion chart for metric/US/UK/JPN needles. Approximate size (depending on the knitting tension) 135cmx135cm, height 95cm, diagonal 190cm
