This stylish, 100% cotton sweater is a flowing combination of vertical stripes and cables that flatter and wrap around your body asymmetrically! It makes creative use of that scary accident in knitting – the “dropped stitch” gasp - that strikes fear in all us knitters! Well, here the intentionally dropped stitches get to shine and create unique, aesthetic lines! “TANA” stands for “There Are No Accidents”, reminding us there is potential meaning in all that happens, given time and creativity.

This sweater is bottom-up in construction, with no shaping. The shoulders are joined with 3-needle bind-off, and the sides are seamed with mattress stitch. The left and right shoulder widths are asymmetric; the lengths of left and right sleeves are also asymmetric, creating a fascinating drape of fabric around the body. The straight armholes allow maximum mobility of the shoulders and arms, without feeling hampered by all the extra fabric!
