ABOUT

Tao Headband is a fun and engaging DK-weight textured design.

The headband is worked in the round from the bottom up and is then folded and seamed to create a double layer of fabric. The headband is worked in stockinette on the inside for a comfortable fit against the forehead, and Tao stitch on the outside to create the textured detail.

This headband has been graded into 6 sizes:

The headband has been graded to fit with approximately 13% negative ease, meaning that the finished headband will be approximately 13% smaller than the intended wearer’s head circumference to ensure a snug fit. This translates to approximately 5-8 cm (2-3.25 in) negative ease depending on the size chosen.

Tao Headband is worked at a DK weight gauge.
The sample headband was knit using Gepard Garn - Woolia - 100% merino wool - 132 m/140yds per 50g
