A companion to my Teremok mitten pattern, this new mitten design features a little wooden house in a winter setting. Both designs can be found in My Home My Mitten e-book.

Materials
• US Size 0 (2mm) set of dpns or circular needles (for Magic Loop method); US size 00 (1.75mm) for ribbing (optional)
• Fingering weight yarn – 231y/50 g (211m/50g). You will need approx. 297 – 310 yards total: BC – 167y (36g), CC1 – 111y (24g), CC2 – 19y (4g). You will need more, if larger needles are used.
• Tapestry needle

Notes
1. Size: The mittens are 68 stitches in the hand part. With recommended yarn, needles, and gauge the mittens should fit an 8” circumference hand. To make larger size mittens use larger needles or thicker yarn.
2. Stranded colorwork: Follow the charts from right to left. The mittens are knit in two colors. The second contrast color is added with the duplicate stitch technique after the knitting is done.
3. Make sure to catch longer floats using preferred method.
