When I go on holiday (vacation) I like to pop into a local yarn shop and purchase a special skein of yarn. Usually fingering weight, from a local dyer to make a pair of socks.

This sock pattern is for a shortie vanilla sock, with traditional heel flap and rounded heel, gusset and round toe. It’s my go to for a quick pair of socks.

Pattern is written in Small (56) Medium (64) and Large (72) stitches.

I used Organic Cottage Sock Fingering Weight (80% Organic Merino, 20% Nylon). 115g - 382 yards. Fleece Artist, Halifax, NS. Plenty of yarn left over too.
