While I was on holiday recently in Nova Scotia, I picked up a stitch pattern book. As I flipped through it, I found a stitch that looked like spiders. Well to me they looked like spiders!! I think it also goes by the starlight stitch, the daisy stitch or the butterfly stitch depending on who you are asking.

The more I looked at this stitch, the more a sock pattern formulated in my mind. Little spiders dropping by their silky threads from the cuff of the sock. Scurrying past a pumpkin patch heel, before landing around the top of the foot. One of them creeping into the middle of the toe.

This sock pattern is knit cuff down, with an hourglass heel and wedge toe.

Available in Small (56st), Medium (64 st) and Large (72 st). Written instructions with Charts available in all sizes.
