The Jellyfish Skirt
THIS PATTERN IS CURRENTLY IN TESTING.
The Jellyfish Skirt a low rise tiered maxi skirt, featuring a waistband with waist ties. Each tier gets progressively wider, with tier 3 and 4 made by vertical dropped stitches. This pattern uses adaptive math to ensure a custom fit regardless of your gauge or body measurements.
This is an advanced beginner to intermediate knit, and it is worked from the waist down. First, the waistband section is worked, shaping two holes for the waist ties. The rest is worked in round, with optional hip darts and increases worked at the start of each tier. This is designed to have neutral fit at the hips, then progressively more drapey and flowy towards the end.
This is a made-to-measure pattern with an interactive spreadsheet for you to input your information. You will need your body measurements and your blocked swatch before beginning. This pattern allows you to use any yarn and any needle size you wish.
