This pattern is inspired by the “Call the Midwife” blanket pattern. It uses the blocks of this pattern along with hearts in contrasting colors to give it a little extra! This makes for a perfect receiving blanket, decoration for a nursery, or as an everyday baby blanket.

There is a gauge provided in pattern for both RHSS and CSS yarns with 2 different hooks (H- 5mm for CSS and I- 5.5mm for RHSS) but gauge is not that important in this pattern and you can use any yarn or hook size that you like. Within the pattern I have helpful hints if you choose to use a different yarn or hook and instructions on how to make this blanket longer and wider if you desire.
For The CSS blanket I used a little more than 1 full skein of each color and for the RHSS I used jumbo sized rolls of each color for small blanket size (32’’x33’’ CSS, 38’’x40’’ RHSS)

Please feel free to message me with any questions that you may have and as always, Happy Hooking!
