The Nutmeg apron was born out of wanting to create a non-disney version of my Mrs. Nesbitt inspired apron! This crochet project is an intermediate level pattern, and will most likely be a project that will challenge your concentration! There are many steps to this, but the written instructions flow in a way to set you up for success! This pattern has both a small pocket on the bib of the apron, and a set of pockets on the skirt of the apron. You’ll be working with the Alpine stitch, as well as lots of fun construction technique in attaching the individually made pieces of the apron. The neckline of the apron uses a 1” Metal Slide Buckle for ease, and the embroidery moment on the front of bib of the apron is 100% optional! The pattern suggests using a self striping yarn like Lion Brand Cupcake for added spunk to the “main color”, but as long as you use a DK weight yarn the texture will be just as beautiful. Please let me know if you have any questions about the pattern!
