The Project Bag is knit top-down in the round using one strand of aran/worsted weight yarn.

First the fold is knitted, if you want to avoid the threading of the straps inside the fold, you can make them first and then hold them between the fold while sewing or knitting it together.

There are three sizes, and it’s easy to change the length of the bag. The Project Bag is a beginner friendly pattern!

Sizes:

1 (25 cm x 25 cm / 10” x 10”),
2 (30 cm x 30 cm / 12” x 12”),
3 (35 cm x 35 cm / 14” x 14”)

Gauge:

16 sts x 24 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm / 4” x 4”, measured after blocking

Needles:

5 mm / US 8 circular needles and one double-pointed needle for the three needle bind off. Adjust the needle size to match gauge

Yarn:

The Project Bag is knitted with one strand of aran/worsted weight -yarn.

The samples are knitted with Drops Paris (100% cotton, 75 meters / 82 yards per 50 grams) in colors 20, 57 and 63.
