Construction Overview:

The Pumpkin Vine Wrap is constructed in three main panels: one back panel and two mirrored front panels.
The back begins with both sleeves and the back worked together as one piece.
Lace panels run along each sleeve and either side of the back. Once the sleeves reach the required depth, the sleeve stitches are bound off and the centre back continues alone to the waist.

The two front panels are worked separately. Each begins at the outer sleeve edge and incorporates two lace panels. Stitches are gradually increased along the front edge to create the diagonal wrap shape.

Once all three panels are complete, the garment is seamed and blocked before the waistband is attached.

A long 1×1 ribbed band forms the first waist tie, attaches directly to the live waist stitches, then continues into the second tie.
The back neckline can optionally be stabilised with elastic thread or a thinner yarn after construction.
