The Rory Gilmore sweater is inspired by the iconic knitted sweater, what Rory wears in the first episode of Gilmore Girls, but it is not designed only for Gilmore Girls fans! It is an oversized, top-down cable knitted sweater made from DK weighted yarn.

Finished garment measurements
The sweater has 20-25 cm (8 - 10 inches) positive ease, so you have to calculate with that when you choose the size. Choose your size according to the finished chest measurement that best matches your desired fit.

Bust circumference: (90), 100, (110), 120, (130), 140, (150) cm, (35,5), 40, (43,3), 47, (51,2), 55, (59) inches
Full length:The sweater is knitted top-down, so you can customize how long you want to make it. You can make it shorter for better fit or longer if you want a really oversized fit. (In the sample picture: 75 cm (29 inches) with 3 block of the rhombus pattern.)
Sleeve length from underarm: 50 cm (19,6 inches) in all size, or desired length

Used yarn
The amount of yarn really depends on the length of the sweater. With ~75 cm (29 inches) length you will need the following quantity.
1 strand of DROPS Karisma (750), 800, (850), 900, (950), 1000, (1050) g

Gauge
With 4 mm (US 6) needle 10x10cm (4x4 inches) = 21 sts x 28 rows after blocking in seed stitch pattern

3,5 mm (US 4) circular needles or double pointed needle
