The city of Berlin is the epicenter of modern art and
film. And as a thriving cultural fashion hub, it is the
inspiration behind this quintessential wardrobe staple.
The Tickets to Berlin Top is the iconic yet adaptable
piece that converts any ensemble into something
extraordinary.
Pair this with Wool & Palette’s naturally-dyed,
non-superwash worsted weight yarn. Its soft yet
sturdy fiber structure allows the neck to hold its
shape all day. And it comes in a range of classic,
deeply saturated colors.

SHAPING NOTES: The body is knit in the round and has
a gentle A-line silhouette. The front and back have a simple
armhole shaping that ends with contiguous seams for the
shoulders. German short row shaping is used to shape
the front neck. After sewing the front and back shoulders
together, the mock turtleneck is continued, folded over,
then sewn down. This top can be made with the knit side
as RS (mustard top) or the purl side as RS (gray top);
make sure to weave in ends on your chosen WS.
Non-superwash wool was chosen specifically for its
firm structure once knit. Keep that in mind if deciding
to use a different fiber content when choosing yarn.
