Tor Hat
’A cosy and classic chunky rib hat’

A classic twisting rib hat designed for chunky-weight wool. The ribbed cable gives extra definition to the design. There are instructions to knit the hat ‘in the round’ and knit flat and seamed. There are a matching pair of mittens.

Materials
2 50 g balls each of Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Chunky (55 % Wool - 33% Acrylic, 12% Cashmere, 130 m/142 yrds per 100g)
A pair of 6 mm (UK 4, US 10) knitting needles
A 6 mm cable needle
A tapestry needle
A pompom maker or piece of cardboard
(‘in the round’ version) A 6 mm (UK 4, US 10) circular knitting needle (40 cm/16”long)
(‘in the round’ version) A set of four 6 mm double pointed needles (dpns)
