Trio is a fun knit using the simplest of techniques and some gorgeous Fingering yarn from your stash. How can you go wrong?

Of course you can imagine this in any colour combination and the possibilities are endless.

The stitches are simple because they use the mosaic stitch method of colourwork. You will be working with only one colour at a time in each round. Easy peasy even if you are new to this type of knitting.
This pattern is written out in full row-by-row and does not use charts.

Measurements: After blocking: approx. 76 cm/30” bottom edge, 61cm/24” neck opening,
18.5 cm/7 ¼” height.
Gauge: Before blocking: 27 stitches x 38rows = 10 cm/4” square in stocking stitch with
3.25mm/US 3 needles. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain gauge.

Yarns Used:
Rohrspatz & Wollmeise Sockenwolle 80/20 Twin, 80% Wool, 20% Polyamid.
426 meters/466 yards, 150 grams.

I used mini skeins from the Arielle Birdie pack, but you can of course choose any fingering weight and leftovers from your stash. Birdies are 30 grams each = 93 m/103 yds.
Colour (A) zarte Knopse (26 grams used).
Colour (B) Nautilus (28 grams used).
Colour (C) Turkise Markis (18 grams used).

Needles and supplies:
3 mm/US 2.5 circular needles 60 cm/24” long. (for the borders).
3.25 mm/US 3 circular needles 60 cm/24” long.
17 stitch markers, one being a different colour to mark start of rounds.
Tapestry needle.

Abbreviations:
K ………………..knit
P ………………..purl
SM ……………..slip marker
SLP……………..slip stitches purl wise (as if to purl) with yarn held in back
()…………………..repeat what is written between the brackets
x………………….number of times to repeat() instructions
