Like the three moon phases, the Triple Goddess symbol is recognized as representing the three phases of a woman’s life - The Maiden, The Mother, and The Crone. If you find yourself drawn to this symbol as I have, it is worth the time and effort to create your own Triple Goddess Cowl. The original project was made using the double-knit technique, creating a reversible, inverted image, but notes are included in this pattern to accommodate a non-reversible, one-sided version. Links are also included to videos that show the following techniques:

  • Invisible Double Knitting Cast On
  • Double Knitting and Color Charts
  • Reading Charts in the Round
  • Super Stretchy Cast Off
