These cheerful colourwork Tulip Walk socks are perfect to welcome in spring. The design invokes a fresh spring day full of bright happy colours from the beautiful flowers growing around us. Tulips are such a joyful flower and come in a variety of bold colours making them a perfect motif for a statement sock.

The design is worked cuff down with a twisted rib cuff, shadow wrap short row heel ( you may substitute for any short row heel) and a wedge toe.

The design has been knitted using Scheepjes Metropolis yarn but I would also high recommend using Filcolana Arwetta or Cascade Heritage yarns as they also have a wonderful library of colours.

Main Colour - 50g 200m / 218 yrds
Contrast Colour 1 (Flowers) - 20g 80m / 88 yrds
Contrast Colour 2 (leaves and toe) - 20g 80m / 88 yrds

The pattern includes a stitch count for 3 sizes and the colourwork chart is supplied in two versions to make it easy to follow depending on your MC being light or dark.

Small 56 sts - finished sock circumference 17.5 cm / 6.75”
Medium 64 sts - finished sock circumference 20 cm / 7.75”
Large 72 sts - finished sock circumference 22.5 cm / 8.75”
0-1cm / 0-1/2” of negative ease is recommended.
