Twisted Graffiti Hat is one of the bonus patterns included in my workshop titled, Organic Brioche: The Knit Graffiti Method! Along with the Twisted Graffiti Shawl.
Twisted Graffiti Hat : A two-color brioche hat with twisting lines in an organic stitch pattern resembling roots, tree bark or even coral in the sea, written for multiple yarn weights.
Included in my Masterclass are tutorials on how to create the Twisted Graffiti stitch pattern, in the round and flat.
Lesley Anne Robinson: Organic Brioche: The Knit Graffiti Method
I’ll show you my approach to brioche and how I use it to create fabric that feels organic, expressive, and completely your own. We’ll play with the possibilities of brioche and look at it in a way that might just change how you think about this technique.
Yarn Notes:
If you are working this pattern for Knit Stars: Season of Genius, and you have purchased a kit from Twisted Ambitions Yarn, be sure to knit the hat first. Once you have knit the hat, you can move on to the shawl and use the remainder of the yarn for that! I also knit a sample using the Expression Fiber Arts yarn that was given as part of the course, in case you want to use that. Otherwise, any DK or Worsted weight yarn will work!
Sizes: One Size, shown in 2 different yarn weights
To fit head circumference: 20 - 22’’ / 51 - 59 cm

Shown on model with 22’’ / 96.5 cm head with 2’’ / 5 cm of negative ease. Please note that brioche is a very forgiving fabric, and this one size will fit a number of head sizes.
