These seamless dolls are a quick knit. They are knit in the round on double pointed needles from bottom to top, with clever finishing techniques, to help make them more knitter friendly.
These Peace Dolls are inspired by the national clothing of the Ukraine, especially by the colorful wreaths of flowers that the unmarried girls wear in their hair.

Supplies Needed: Pipe cleaner, 12 mm wooden bead, small amount of worsted weight yarn.

Just like small seeds can grow into beautiful sunflowers, small acts of kindness can change the world.
My wonderful test knitter Sheila, has been kind enough to provide some links to reputable charities on her project page.
There is also a lovely article explaining the significance of the sunflower and some adorable dolls to check out.
