  • crochet level: Intermediate;
  • crocheting skills will be needed to make this pattern: amigurumi ring, slip stitch, chain, single crochet, increasing, decreasing, double crochet and half double crochet, crocheting FLO/BLO. The pattern doesn’t contain crochet lessons.

MATERIALS:

  1. thin yarn for embroidering (black for eyes and yellow for cheeks). I use embroidery DMC yarn (two threads). You can use other yarn of suitable thickness;
  2. stuffing materials (I use hollow fiber).
  3. Crochet hook. I use 2mm size to metric size range, size B-1 to U.S. size range. If you crochet with other types of yarn, choose the size of crochet hook suitable for yarn’s thickness;
  4. scissors;
  5. metal or plastic needle with blunt end for sewing;
  6. thin metal sharp needle for embroidery;
  7. pins for fixing details;
  8. round’s counter (optional);
  9. Blue, beige, yellow, green, red and pink yarns (weight category 2: Fine, Type Sport, 5 ply, 12 wpi). I use:
  • Alize Cotton Gold (55% cotton + 45% acrylic; 12992in/361yd/330m; 3,53oz/100g) color 67 light beige (for inner part of the head) and color 279 jeans (for outer part of the head, body, wings and tail);
  • Yarn Art Jeans (55% cotton + 45% acrylic; 6299in/175yd/160m; 1,76oz/50g) color 88 light yellow (for breast) and color 20 pink (for beak);
