Ulla Blouse
Release Party - This pattern is 40 % of until June 19th.
Ulla Blouse is a lovely summer blouse knitted in Handdyed Bourette Silk and Handdyed Cotton Terry – worked with 2 strands held together (1 strand of each quality), creating a beautiful marled effect. The blouse features short sleeves and a boxy fit.
The blouse is worked from the top down. The body is worked in stockinette stitch, while the sleeves are worked in garter stitch. The back is worked first and begins with short rows. The front is then worked in the same manner with short rows and neck increases. The work is joined at the underarms, and the body is worked in the round with increases at both sides for additional ease. The body is finished with a garter stitch edging.
Stitches are picked up around the armholes, and a sleeve edging is worked in the round in garter stitch.
Finally, a narrow neck edging is worked.
