About the Vine Pullover: The Vine Pullover is a compound raglan sweater, worked from the top down. The sweater is cast on, a ribbed collar is worked, and German short rows are worked. Raglan increases are worked every other row to the shoulder (approximately), then rates of increase on the front, back, and sleeves will vary according to size. Sleeves are placed on hold, underarms are cast on, and the sweater body is worked in the round to the desired length. Sleeves are picked up and worked. A cable panel is worked end of the collar to the wrist. If needed, the Alteration Guide may be utilized to make bust, yoke depth, and sleeve adjustments. Video tutorials for the tricky parts are linked throughout the pattern. Purchase includes a Low Vision file with 22pt sans serif font with no italics or columns.
Level: Intermediate. Some knowledge of raglan sweater construction is recommended before attempting due to German Short Row Shaping.

Suggested Needles:
Stockinette: US 7 (4.5mm) circular knitting needles, or size needed for correct gauge.
Ribbing: US 5 (3.75mm) circular knitting needles, or size needed for correct gauge.
Circular needle lengths should correspond to the chest and sleeve measurements of your garment. If there is a great difference between your bust, waist, or hip measurements, plan to have lengths corresponding to each of these.
Notions:
♦ 8 stitch markers—1 to mark beginning of round, 3 more for raglan increase sections, and 4 to mark cable panels.
♦ Tapestry needle
♦ Cable needle
