Warm Winter Ski Mask
A free version is also available.
The Warm Winter Ski Mask is worked from the top down in joined rounds and includes 7 sizes from 6–12 months through Adult Large.
I designed these ski masks with extra length so the bottom can tuck inside a winter coat and help keep the neck covered. The eye opening is created with chain stitches and worked directly into the mask. You can also fold up the lower portion and wear it as a beanie.
The original sample was made with Lion Brand Lion’s Pride Woolspun, which has been discontinued. I tested Scheepjes Chunky Monkey as a substitute, and it matched the original pattern gauge perfectly with a 6 mm (J) crochet hook.
Sizes: 6–12 months, 12–24 months, 3–6 years, 7–10 years, Adult Small, Adult Medium and Adult Large
Yarn: Bulky Weight [5] or yarn that matches gauge
Hook: 6 mm (J)
Gauge: 10 dc and 7 rows = approximately 4 inches (10 cm)
Difficulty: Easy
Tutorial: Included
The pattern is available free on my blog, which is supported by ads. If you prefer an ad-free version, you can purchase the PDF right here on Ravelry.
