Inspired by the popular spooky teen drama series (and my friend’s playful offered replacement for the Wednesday Addams and Enid Sinclair ship name “Wenclair”), I designed this versatile set of detachable collars to capture the fresh, fun, and bold styling of the show’s costumes. These are NOT meant to be direct replicas of the costumes, more like my own take of my favourite design elements of each girl’s style.
You can make these in pure white to capture Wednesday’s creepy cool vibe, or every color of the rainbow if cute and sassy like Enid is more your vibe. Or make them both and twin with a bestie!

difficulty:

notes:

  • This pattern uses US terminology.

  • Written pattern has instructions for the default 14 inch circumference, chart includes instruction on how to increase/decrease circumference for a more custom fit.

  • Both collars are worked flat, turning at every row before starting a new one unless otherwise stated.

  • “Wednesday” is worked starting at the neckband to the main body, with a chain space worked as a buttonhole for fastening (skip this buttonhole if you prefer to use ribbons/snaps/hook and eye for the closure). Its best to use a non-stretchy high-twist yarn for this collar to retain its shape.

  • “Enid” is also worked starting from the neckband to the main collar body, with the same chain space for the buttonhole. Any drapey yarn can be used for this collar but its still recommended to be non-stretchy for best drape.
