Make yourself this super cute Wheat fields in winter hat with a few basic crochet stitches. If you can ch, sc, and hdc, you can make this hat! It’s a great beginner project that looks harder then it really is!

The wheat colored hat is made using Lion Brand Wool Ease, less then one skein, and for the purple hat made using Caron Cakes in bumbleberry, I still have about 1/4 of a cake left, after making the hat and the pompom, so this is a one skein/one cake project. You may need and extra skein of the Wool ease if you are going to make the pom pom out of the same thing you made the hat out of, just to be safe.
