The Wildvine Tank is a fun summer top featuring simple yet striking all-over lace that is both intuitive to knit and easy to style. Designed in DK weight gauge, this versatile top includes 12 sizes with finished bust circumferences ranging from 72.5–161 cm / 29–53”, and is intended to be worn with 0–7.5 cm / 0–3” of negative ease for a flattering fit. Simultaneously worked i-cord edging creates clean, polished finishes with minimal finishing work, while optional bust darts allow for a more customized fit. Choose between two neckline options, a modern square neck or a softer scoop neck. For those who prefer to skip bust shaping, Wildvine Tank can also be made reversible, allowing you to enjoy both neckline styles in one beautifully versatile piece.

MATERIALS

This pattern uses Knitting for Olive Pure silk (100% Bourette silk, 250 m / 273 yds per 50 g) held double. If you are using DK weight yarn, you need half the meterage / yardage than suggested.

Good alternative yarns are Drops Belle (53% cotton, 33% viscose, 14% linen, 120 m / 50 g), Sandnes Garn Line (53% cotton, 33 % viscose, 14% linen, 110 m / 50 g) or Tynn Line (53% cotton, 33% viscose, 14% linen, 220 m / 50 g).

Size 11 has not been test knitted yet. If you’re interested in knitting that size, I’d love to offer you the pattern for free in exchange for some feedback on your experience. There’s no set deadline, you can knit at your own pace.

Please note that the pattern has been professionally tech edited, so it should be accurate and ready to knit. Still, your notes and insights would be very helpful in refining these larger sizes for future updates.
