I created this fun blanket for my favorite nephew. It is worked in two colors, with broader stripes of the Main Color at the beginning and the end, and narrower stripes of Contrasting Color and Main Color between. You can make this blanket in two colors, as shown, or as many as make you happy; you can even make it in only one color if you like a sophisticated, monochromatic look.
The featured cables vary in size and direction, and there is even a “faux” cable mixed in to keep the knitting stimulating. Never fear, though; nothing about this pattern is difficult!

I used 10-11 skeins of the Main Color and 5 of the Contrasting Color, although we all knit differently.
