This is a written pattern for a windspinner. Several pictures are added to show how it should look like.

For this windspinner I used acrylic yarn: Stylecraft Special dk or similar, which is about 300 meter/328 yards per 100 gram.

I used hooksize 3.0

I needed 78 meter/ 86 yards of this yarn for the white/yellow/orange/red windspinner on the picture.
This windspinner was about 34 cm/ 13.4 inches tall, and 8 cm/ 3.15 inches wide.
You can make this windspinner longer or shorter if you like.

This is a yarn-only project.

The level is intermediate.

Stitches and (US-) terms used in this pattern:

• ch = chainstitch
• slst = slipstitch
• sc = single crochet
• fpdc/ bpdc = frontpost double crochet/ backpost double crochet
• trc = treble crochet
• flo = frontloop only
• blo = backloop only
