This is a written pattern for a windspinner. The pattern includes some pictures to show how it should look like.

For this windspinner I used acrylic yarn: Stylecraft Special dk or similar, which is about 300 meter/328 yards per 100 gram.

I used hooksize 3.0

This windspinner is a little over 8 cm/ 3.15 inches wide, the length depends on the length of row 1. You can make row 1 as long as you like.

The shorter (brownish and turquoise) windspinner on the picture is about 21 cm/ 8.3 inches tall, the longer (pink and green) windspinner is about 38 cm/ 15 inches tall.

I needed 57 meter/ 63 yards of yarn for the shorter version, 124 meter/ 136 yards for the longer version.

The level of this pattern is intermediate to advanced.

• slst = slipstitch
• sc = single crochet
• dc = double crochet
• trc = treble crochet
• fpsc/ bpsc = frontpost single crochet/ backpost single crochet
• fpdc/ bpdc = frontpost double crochet/ backpost double crochet
• decr = decrease
