This is a written pattern for a windspinner. The pattern includes some pictures to show how it should look like.

For this windspinner I used acrylic yarn: Stylecraft Special dk or similar, which is about 300 meter/328 yards per 100 gram.
I used hooksize 3.0
I needed 48 meter/ 53 yards of yarn.

This windspinner is about 12,5 cm/ 4.9 inches wide
and 26 cm/ 10.2 inches in length.

It’s a yarn-only project (like most of my windspinners).

The level is intermediate.
If you know the stitches that are used and you can read carefully, you can try this if you’re a bit less experienced too.

Stitches and (US-) terms used in this pattern:

• mc = magic circle
• ch = chainstitch
• slst = slipstitch
• sc = single crochet
• hdc = half double crochet
• dc = double crochet
• trc = treble crochet
• decr = decrease
• incr = increase
• blo = backloop only
