This is a written pattern for a windspinner.

For this windspinner I used acrylic yarn: Stylecraft Special dk or similar, which is about 300 meter/328 yards per 100 gram.

I used hooksize 3.0
I used hooksize 2.0 for the little flowers on the white/yellow windspinner.

I needed 48 meter/53 yards of yarn. You need a bit more if you also make the flowers.

This windspinner is about 7.5 cm/2.95 inches wide and 25 cm/9.85 inches in length.

Optional:
You might want to hang a small weight under the windspinner to prevent the bottom from blowing crooked in strong winds.

The level is intermediate.
It might be challenging to find the right stitches when crocheting onto the foundation row.

• yoslst = yarnover slipstitch
• sc = single crochet
• hdc = half double crochet
• dc = double crochet
