This is a written pattern for a small windspinner. It’s also a nice item to just use as a hanging ornament.
The pattern includes several pictures to show how it should look like.

For this windspinner I used cotton yarn (Scheepjes Catona or similar), which is 125 m/137 yards per 50 gram. I used two different colors, more or less is also possible.

I used hooksizes 3.5, 3.0 and 2.5 for the main part.
I needed about 35 meter/38.5 yards of cotton yarn.

My finished windspinner was about 11.25 cm/4.4 inches tall and 6 cm/2.4 inches wide.

This pattern is also tested using acrylic yarn and hooksizes 3.5 and 3.0 , my acrylic windspinner was slightly bigger than the cotton version.

The level is intermediate.
The windspinner is a 3d-shape, crocheted in one piece, similar to my Snowflake pattern, but not the same: The first rows are different.

• hdc = half double crochet
• dc = double crochet
• trc = treble crochet
• incr = increase
• blo = in backloop only
• flo = in frontloop only
