This is a pattern for a windspinner in the shape of an owl. The pattern includes instructions for a head with smaller eyes and for a head with bigger eyes.
It’s mainly a written pattern, but there are many pictures added to explain details and to show how it should look like.
The pattern has 18 pages in total.

My finished spinner was about 8.5 cm/3.35 inches tall
and 6.75 cm/2.65 inches wide.

The level is advanced.

Materials needed:
-yarn
I used cotton yarn (Scheepjes Catona or similar), which is 125 m/137 yards per 50 gram. I used hooksize 2.5 for the main part.
For the paws I used a slightly thinner yarn and hooksize 2.0
You need brown for the body and small amounts of darker brown, black, and white or yellow.
-wire:
about 11 cm/ 4.33 inches
-a bead or stuffing for the head:
a 25 mm/1 inch bead or a 20 mm/0.8 inch bead or pillow stuffing (and no bead).
You might need a slightly bigger or smaller bead depending on how tight you crochet.
-a thread for hanging the windspinner:
you can use a nylon thread or a single thread of the yarn you used for the windspinner itself

Stitches and (US-)terms used in this pattern:

• mc = magic circle
• ch = chainstitch
• slst = slipstitch
• yoslst= yarnover slipstitch
• sc = single crochet
• hdc = half double crochet
• dc = double crochet
• htrc = start like a treble crochet, but make the second pullthrough through 3 loops
• picot= chain a few stitches and slst in the first chain
• incr = increase
• decr = decrease
• flo = frontloop only
• blo = backloop only
