This is a pattern for a small windspinner.
The pattern is a written pattern, it includes several pictures to show how it should look like.

For this windspinner I used cotton yarn (Scheepjes Catona or similar), which is 125 m/137 yards per 50 gram and hooksizes 3.5, 3.0 and 2.5.
I used 3 different colors.
I needed about 14 meter/15.3 yards.

My finished windspinner was about 7.5 cm/2.95 inches tall and 4.25 cm/1.67 inches wide.

! Note: —This little windspinner is comparable with (but not the same as) the ‘inside (=shorter) flaps of my Windspinner Lacy Twister.
Rows/rounds 1 - 4 are exactly the same for both.
Windspinner Pine Cone is a lot smaller than the Lacy Twister.

The level is intermediate.

Stitches and (US-) terms used in this pattern:

• ch = chainstitch
• slst = slipstitch
• sc = single crochet
• hdc = half double crochet
• dc = double crochet
• trc = treble crochet
• incr = increase
