This is a written pattern for a windspinner. The pattern includes some pictures to show how it should look like.

For this windspinner I used acrylic yarn: Stylecraft Special dk or similar, which is about 300 meter/328 yards per 100 gram.
I used hooksize 3.0

I needed 39 meter/ 34 yards of yarn.

This windspinner is about 9.5 to 10 cm/ 3.75 to 3.95 inches wide and 26 cm/ 10.2 inches in length.

You can use wire inside the outer edge, that isn’t necessary though.

Besides the yarn, and optional the wire, you also need a big, creepy spider, ofcourse!
I used a 3d-printed spider of about 4 cm/1.57 inches wide.

The level is advanced beginner.

• slst = slipstitch
• sc = single crochet
• ext sc = extended single crochet
• hdc = half double crochet
• dc = double crochet
• trc = treble crochet
• dtrc = double treble crochet
• decr = decrease
• incr = increase
• blo = in backloop only
