Winter Apples gloves
by Alesia Krau
Winter Apples gloves - whimsical fall knitting pattern for fingerless gloves, inspired by one of my favorite films.
If you have done “Winter Apples scarf” you can also make this pattern with leftover yarn!
Materials:
- 4 mm (US 6) double-pointed needles (DPNs) set of 5, or circular 80cm,
- 23-25 g of each colour yarn. I’m using DK weight yarn, Drops Lima in colour 2923 and 0707 (50 g = 100 m / 1.8 oz = 109 yds), tapestry needle,
- different colour scrap yarn or 2 stitch markers,
- scissors.
Techniques required:
- cast on,
- k - Knit,
- p - Purl,
- K2TOG - knit 2 sts together,
- M1L - make 1 knit left leaning,
- M1R - make 1 knit right leaning
Pattern includes written instructions for every row, photos of important steps and charts of stars and apple for duplicated stitches.
These gloves are a fun and quick project that adds a touch of whimsy to your wardrobe or makes a perfect handmade gift for your friend!
