Winter on Ocracoke, an island in the Outer Banks of North Carolina, is a wild windswept experience that longs for warmth and comfort. The colors conjure up that remote part of the world.

This is an beautiful oversized shawl that wraps around you and hugs you. It’s not to challenging but keeps you interested throughout the entire project.

I used every scrap of the 5 skeins of yarn for this project - with a bit left over for 3 tassels, if your gauge goes over the suggested gauge you may need to purchase an additional skein of each color.

The colors I used are Malabrigo Rios in Bobby Blue x 2 and Baah Yarn Shasta in Call of the Wild x 3

Knitted up on US7 46” circular needles.

The charts are in depth and will hopefully keep you on track throughout the project - and the written pattern will hopefully clarify any queries you have.

Pattern uses knits, purls and yarnovers - no fancy stitches!
