Xiomara now has a sister pattern called Itzel

Xiomara, (pronounced see-o-mara) is a feminine Spanish given name, which is a variant of Guiomar and derived from the German name Wigmar, which means “battle ready” or “battle famous”. Also means glorious forest.
Xiomara will wrap you in an elegant show of colour, texture and intriguing Mosaic stitches. No one has to know how simple these stitches are, which only adds to the mystery and allure of Xiomara.

Mosaic knitting is incredibly beautiful and amazingly simple, nothing to fear and wonderful to learn! All the stitches are basic, even the Mosaic effect is achieved through the simplest of slipped stitches and working with only one colour in each row.
Easy Peasy, I promise. I don’t design “hard”.

This pattern is very well written. The instructions for mosaic knitting are very beginner friendly. Rhc4

Pattern instructions are written out in full, row by row.

There are also charts to follow if you are a chart knitter. But if you aren’t you can just skip over them and ignore them completely.
