It’s become my go-to scarf this winter.

I love how straight the top edge was even without blocking. I didn’t like there was some looseness in between the leaves. Maybe it could be solved with more aggressive blocking.

If I were to knit this again, I might leave out the leaves altogether, keep the stripes, and choose a different color scheme. While rainbow scarves are great fun to knit, they really aren’t my style.

Notes for me:

• 12/5 I’m using whatever Chroma fingering I have left from the Spectra project.

• 12/13 I’ve gone through one skein of the Palette already. I’m pretty sure I’m going to run out of the Palette before I run out of the Chroma. I really wish I had a scale or something to help me estimate yardage when I don’t use a whole skein for a project.

• 12/21 Currently blocking. Finished weaving in ends during Snowmageddon 2012. I still have nearly an entire color change of the Chroma left. I going to guess that that’s about 100 yards. I really could use a yarn scale.

• Only 27 leaves before I ran out of the palette. I like that the wrong side is also very pretty. Only lightly blocked.
