I finished round six and redistributed the stitches on the needles.

OK, that was fun and a bit stressful at the same time. My first time doing a Latvian braid and also working on three needles. I’ve always used four, even for few stitches. I was surprised that it’s actually easier with just three. As for the Latvian braid, that was fairly easy too, or would have been if I weren’t working on just 20 stitches. Somehow I managed to drop a CC stitch in the middle of the braid, but I managed to pick it up. Then, and I’m not sure how, I noticed a hole in the brim where it joins the braid. I thought it was just where the needles met, but no, a dropped stitch that had run through four rows. I managed to pick it back up and just sewed it to the rest of the hat with thread. I can’t imagine how I had the right number of stitches for the braid. Strange things happen sometimes when I work in the round on a low number of stitches. I decided against the tassle, since I want it for a doll hat and not an ornament.

Now to see if it will atually fit the tiny rag dolls.
