I’m teaching a beginning knitter workshop for the Carnegie Mellon Women’s Association and I chose this hat for the project. I was looking for a project that only required one size needle, was available for free, and super simple. This met the requirements and so I whipped up a sample. I chose the adult large and it is quite big on me. I’m planning to give it to my father and hope it will work for him. I also find the crown a bit too pointy for my taste, even with blocking it to a more rounded shape.
