These slippers knit up quickly, but I took a very long pause between the actual knitting and the finishing work.

I felted the slippers by hand to get exactly the shape I wanted. I decided to embellish them with a little knitted rose and leaf. In retrospect, I should have sewn the roses on to look like mirror images, but the slippers are already with their recipient. Next time, perhaps.

I love the Shepherd’s wool for felting. Even with the hand felting, they fulled quickly and it was extremely easy to shape the slippers as I worked.

This was my second pair of slippers from this pattern, and it’s far from my last.
