Winter Woodland Dress is a modified version of my Winter Blues dress found here I love the “cherry and chocolate” combination of the currant and bison in this dress. The snowflakes are done in Oregon Coast Heather which has so many beautiful shades in it. Tap on it in the yarn section to get a closer look.

I used a long tail cast on of 90 stitches, and did 10 repeats of the chart pictured on the left. FOR THIS VERSION, I OMITTED ROWS 6 AND 7 OF THE CHART. The long tail cast on is row 1 and the next 4 rows are garter stitch done on straight needles before joining in the round and following the chart beginning with row 8. I followed my usual dress modifications and bodice reductions found here When the dress was finished, I added “ gold” centers to each snowflake by sewing a row of duplicate stitches.

The bunny was knit on 2.75mm neeedles using Sublime extra fine merino DK in caramel.
