Crochet: Bag - Other
The Port-a-Pouch is designed to hold the post-surgical drain bag specifically for cancer patients. I hope that the colourful bag brings some cheer to patients in an otherwise scary time. The pouch could also be used to carry the phone, keys, etc
Crochet: Coaster
This pattern requires a bangle or a ring of approximately 6cm (2.5”) diameter. the instructions are given for this sized ring. However the pattern also includes instructions for modifications of the size.
Crochet: Bookmark
The bookmark is designed to use up scraps of yarn. For the pattern to show, it needs at least two different colours- solids are best.
Crochet: Potholder
Using the Berry Stitch makes this hot mat quite thick and will protect your precious surfaces from hot dishes. The stitch looks like little pumpkins all in a row.
Crochet: Afghan block
The square may not lay flat while working on it. This settles while blocking. Although the sample was made with fingering weight yarn, this square can be made with any yarn. Check the projects for other ideas.

This is a 8”x8” afghan block as part of the Love and Joy 2021 blanket. It resembles the lights on the Christmas tree. It could be made as a single piece or used to make a cushion cover. It uses Worsted weight yarn and you will need approx 26m the deep green and 9 m each of the gold and deep red. The colours can be customised to suit your palette.
