This simple lace pattern is fun to knit, but repetitive enough that it’s easy to get into a nice knitting groove. Using two colors adds a new twist to a classic pattern.

This very easy baby blanket is knit on the diagonal. A simple yarn-over increases the size of the blanket and also gives edges a nice eyelet effect. You can adjust the blanket to be as small, or as large, as you want. Simply increase until the blanket is half the desired size, and then begin decreasing. Easy!
