Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
With winter on it’s way, knitters begin to think about snuggling into some woolly warmth, and these socks fit the bill.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This simple hat design makes good use of a lovely, soft yarn that makes its own pattern over the body of the hat, set off by a creamy ribbed band. Add a pompom and your hat is complete.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque, Mittens
This is a fun and easy to knit set of matching hat and mittens, using a worsted weight yarn for the ribbing, which is then held together with a colourful sock weight yarn for the body of each piece. All are knit in the round, so there’s minimal finishing to do.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This hat is all about the colour mix with flecks here & there. I find it interesting to watch the colours in the linen stitch develop as you knit along. Brimmed with a pompom (or not), or the slouchy version. If you don’t attach a pompom, the hat is completely reversible (look at the finishing instructions in the pattern).
Knitting: Boot Cuffs / Toppers
What is more fun than a bit of fluff at the top of your boots?
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This is a fun hat that you can knit with a brim or in a slouchy style (both styles are included in the pattern). Just enough sparkly to make it festive. Knitted holding 2 strands together.
Knitting: Poncho
Super quick to knit & assemble poncho for babies & smaller children. Essentially 2 rectangles sewn together at angles. Sample in photo was knit at the 6mon size. I find it easier to handle the faux fur material on straights (my preference).
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
Drizzle Up is a quick fun knit. Great for X-mas gifts/stocking stuffers.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
I have adapted the original Zen Shawl Pattern - by Maureen Clark, (with her permission) to work with the colour changes in Estelle’s Rainbow Autumn. I am pretty sure that it would also work with the Estelle Rainbow Confetti.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This wrap is designed to be warm and cozy but lightweight at the same time. Fancy enough to put with a dress or nice outfit but looks great with a nice top & a pair of jeans as well.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
There is a hat that is selling in Toronto for $200 !! A rib knit tuque that is lined with Qiviut. Wow! I decided that I could create my own pattern like this hat. It too is a 1x1 rib knit toque but the lining is knitted out of Drops Alpaca. Still very light and warm. Meant to be a snug fitting tuque it is available in 2 sizes, youth & adult...
Knitting: Baby Blanket
A quick and easy knit! Bella Chenille is a very soft, cushy yarn which results in a beautiful baby blanket. Worked in garter stitch throughout with colour bands.
Knitting: Robe
This is a fast & fun knit ! Designed to be oh so cuddly. The minute I saw this yarn the project came to mind.
Knitting: Cowl
This is a nice quick knit with a professional finished look. Pattern is essentially a single row with 3 rows to encompass the buttonhole.
Knitting: Baby Blanket
A soft & touchable blanket made with 7 different DK weight yarns to offer varieties of textures & colours for baby. 1 ball of each yarn listed is used to produce this blanket. When you use the yarns indicated there is little to no waste at the end of the project. Offered with a knitted or crocheted border - your choice. This is a fun an...
Knitting: Pullover
An easily worked openweave pattern. Inspired by a trip to Charleston, South Carolina. This pattern is easy to knit, wear & pack. Lovely for summer with it’s linen fabric.
