A fitted toque with a geometric crown pattern for the royalty in your life!
Knitting: Chart
Just a quick colour chart for making stranded colourwork Container Ships. Information on how I used it to make mittens is here.
Knitting: Mittens, Fingerless Gloves
Two years ago, my mother asked me to design her a pair of fingerless mitts in three colours for Christmas. I made her some simple tube mitts and named them for her favourite place on earth, Normandy.
Knitting: Baby Blanket
Halifax is a rhombus-shaped baby blanket with a diamond brocade pattern. It is made with incredibly soft bulky weight cotton, and the bumpy texture is showcased beautifully on such a simple fabric.
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
Normandy is my mother’s favourite place on earth. She practically raised me there, and when she asked me to design her a pair of mitts the colours she chose reminded me of the farm she loves so much.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This is a fairly simple hat with Fair Isle striping. It is made with worsted weight wool on size fives to make a very dense and warm fabric.
Knitting: Collar
This free pattern is really just my project notes typed up and cleaned up a bit. A novice may struggle with the sparse instructions. A confident knitter may choose to continue on increasing and make themselves a top-down raglan jacket or vest, as I intend to.
