Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This shawl pattern showcases the lovely gradient in the yarn. I think it is sweet and a bit sassy, hence the name. It is reversible and has just a few eyelets to keep things interesting and to create a lovely accessory.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This lovely shawl features a very old lace pattern. In Barbara Walker’s book it is called Frosted Flowers but there is some debate about this. Regardless, it is one of my favourite lace patterns and it is placed on the bottom of this small shawl. The cast on is at the bottom and after a few garter rows the lace begins. Although the pattern has ...
Knitting: Baby Blanket
This baby blanket combines two of my favourite elements. Reversibility and cables! The blanket is square with a centre panel of cables growing out of the ribbing. The cables, although they look difficult, are surprisingly easy. Give it a try, make this blanket for any little people in your life!
Knitting: Scarf
Don’t know what to do with those two lovely skeins of yarn you have? Well this is a fun little scarf that will work up quickly and give you lots of German Short Row practice at the same time. Only one of the two colours needs to be cut, the other is carried along…less weaving in at the end! The size is also very easily adjustable and as long as...
Knitting: Scarf
A very dense ribbed scarf, interrupted by cables in the centre. The scarf is worked on a very small needle to keep the ribbing nice and compact. The reverse side looks similar to ribbing.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
A quick last minute gift for a special person in your life, or for yourself! Knit using super bulky yarn, this hat can be completed in as little as two hours (depending on your knitting speed)! Ribbing is folded over to keep your ears extra warm and the hat is knit in a lovely garter stitch. Put a faux fur, real fur or yarn pom pom on the top f...
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This shawl pattern combines garter and stockinette, eyelet and ruche stitches, plus a picot edging to create a lovely half-circle shaped shawl.
Knitting: Cup / Mug
This cup cozy pattern combines a hugs and kisses cable and a right and a left four stitch cable. Depending on the yarn and needle size, the finished product can easily be changed to your liking. This pattern would also make a lovely head band.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This shawl pattern combines garter and a garter crown stitch. Using these two stitches has created a shawl that is very pretty on both sides and has a lovely scalloped edge. It is also very easy to make the shawl larger.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This shawl pattern combines garter, stripes and a garter feather and fan stitch to create a lovely reversible accessory.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This shawl pattern combines garter stitch and a leaf design to create a lovely accessory.
Knitting: Baby Blanket
This pattern was created and named for my friend’s first baby!
Knitting: Cowl
This is a cowl that contains two of my favourite things, cables and lace. Because of the lace and the type of cable construction, the reverse side is also nice.
Knitting: Cowl
This cowl is reversible and shows the colour variations beautifully along carries created by the slipped stitches. The larger version wraps twice around your neck and the smaller version is a single tube. Your favourite worsted weight yarn can easily be substituted.
