This was my Mom’s best mitten pattern ever because it covers a large variety of sizes and requires no gauge if using a true worsted weight yarn and size 4 (US) needles. A great, straightforward pattern that you can personalize with swipes and color work - even making mis-matched mitten fun.

Pattern Notes:

Materials: Lots of small odds and ends of yarns and size 15 (US) needles, straight or 16” circular.

Suggested Yarn: 1 Hank of Berroco Macro for the Cowl & Mitts. (112yds)

Materials:

This hat has a double thick band around the ears for extra warmth. It is very easy to knit in worsted weight yarn on a size 7, 16” circular needle. It takes approximately 180 yards, but can be easily striped at any point to use up odds and ends.
